Tutor Days
The Canine Center's Day Tutor program helps dogs in our group classes and private lessons take their training to the next level. Tutors are skilled dog trainers who will work one on one with your dog on training issues needing extra attention or refining. You are the key to your dog's success in training yet allowing our fabulous trainers to work your dog all day will accelerate their learning and socialization. Drop off your dog Tues-Thurs morning between 8:00 and 9:00am with a list of a few behaviors you and your trainer are working on, then pick up your well-worked dog between 4:00 and 6:00pm. Your dog’s tutor will give you an update on how the day went and how to continue the training at home. Tutoring is currently offered at the 6901 Old Bee Caves Rd location for $40/day.

Tutoring may teach and/or perfect the following:
•Basic skills (sit, down, leash manners, come)
•Basic skills with distractions
•Advanced skills (off leash and Canine Good Citizen work)
•Proper Greetings and Manners (around humans and other dogs)
•Adult remedial socialization
•Relaxation
•Agility, Rally, Air Scent, Tracking and more sports
•Retrieve
•Crate Training and more
At your trainer's recommendation, Tutoring may be offered at your home. This allows your dog to work in the environment they spend the most time in. Talk to your trainer for details.
